General information

Supplies – I use all my own supplies, if you prefer a certain brand/product please be sure to have it accessible at the barn for me to use instead.

Liability – I'm NOT liable for any damage caused to equipment under ANY circumstances. I will, take safe care of all tack and equipment. By using my services you agree to all liability releases.

Satisfaction – If at any point there are problems or concerns with my services please let me know.

 Payment – Payment is expected upon services rendered for new clients. Billing can be set up as needed for established clients. 

Basic cleaning

Basic Cleaning service gets rid of superficial dirt that occurs after each ride. Care will be given to wipe dust and sweat from the tack. Glycerin soap and cool water will be used to seal the pores and keep it soft but not sticky. The basic daily cleaning will clean the parts that are under pressure during use. This will include where the sweat and saliva may collect around the buckles, where reins and cheek pieces attach to bit rings, all parts of the girth, billet straps and around the stirrup leathers.  

A general inspection of your tack will be done to check for loose stitching and any concerns will be reported.

Thorough Cleaning

Thorough cleaning, includes the same services as basic daily cleaning with the addition of unbuckling each and every buckle and detailing of each item. Touching up of leather and equipment. 

A general inspection of your tack will be done to check for loose stitching and any concerns will be reported.

Cleaning & Conditioning

Cleaning & Conditioning, includes the same services as basic cleaning with the addition of conditioning to restore moisture in the leather. 

A general inspection of your tack will be done to check for loose stitching and any concerns will be reported. 

Keep in mind there is such a thing as too much 
conditioning of your tack. This can make it flimsy.

Super CLEANING & CONDITIONING

Super cleaning and conditioning, includes the same services as thorough cleaning unbuckling of each and every buckle and detailing of each item, dental pick used for getting horse hairs out and polish /buff. Touching up of leather and equipment. Plus conditioning to restore moisture in leather. 

A general inspection of your tack will be done to check for loose stitching and any concerns will be reported.

Mold & Mildew

If your tack is a victim of mold and or mildew the services will include a dilute rubbing alcohol with water in a 1:1 ratio. A thorough cleaning &  conditioning.
